Skull Squad

100 hand-coded pixel skulls, 50x50 and not one pixel more. Every trait -- the bone, the glow in the sockets, the grin and whatever is sitting on the cranium -- was drawn on a 25x25 grid in code on a single machine, then doubled with nearest-neighbour so it lands exactly on 50x50. No upscaler, no smoothing, no generated art. What you see is the grid.
